Meeting in UK April, 2013

The past 9th and 10th of April took place in the region of Kent, in southeast England, the last meeting between project partners of Into-Active Europe.

The final meeting was attended by representatives of the project partners, among which we have to mention Action with Communities in Rural Kent (United Kingdom), Fundación Diagrama (Spain), Slovak Disability Council (Slovakia) and Seniors Handicapés Européens (France). At the meeting were visited two organizations that work with people with dependency and also were discussed the findings of the study.

The fourth meeting of the Project Into-Active Europe was held in Bratislava, in the capital city of the Slovak Republic. 17 participants took part in this autumn meeting 

(6 – Action with Communities in Rural Kent, 4 - Fundación Diagrama Intervención Psicosocial, 3 - Seniors Handicapés Européens, 4 - Slovak Disability Council). 

During the first day September 18, 2012 all partners visited three examples of good practice:

The third meeting of the Project Into-Active Europe was held in Murcia, in southeastern Spain. There were 14 people involved, 2 coming from the British partner Rural Kent, 4 from Slovak Disability Council, 6 from the French Seniors Handicapes Europeens and 2 from the Spanish Fundación Diagrama. It is relevant also to mention the collaboration of several professionals from Fundación Diagrama who have helped in organizing the event, as Gertrudis Cánovas, head in Murcia of the socio-sanitary intervention area, and Pedro Garcia, a renowned journalist who works for the press department.

From 24th to 26th of January 2012 the different partners of the Project Into-Active Europe, met for the second time in Nice, France. These included: The Fundación Diagrama from Spain, Action with Communities in Rural Kent from the United Kingdom, The Slovak Disability Council from Slovakia and the European Association of Disabled Elderly (Senior Handicapés Européens).

Each partner presented their roles in helping the elderly, disabled and dependant people in their country. This was followed by a discussion on how each partner can benefit from the successful experiences.
